Dissemination of research findings and products during 29th IEK Convention 2022

From 21st to 25th November 2022, Engineers converged at the Diani Reef Beach Resort and Spa in Diani in Kwale county for the 29th IEK Convention to discuss global climate change and the contribution that Engineers can make in the mitigation of the effects. During the forum the Kenya Building Research Centre was able to showcase and disseminate research findings and products to the participants. 
The five-day event brought together delegates from all over the world including delegation from the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) Federation of African Engineering Organization (FAEO) representatives.  Over 500 delegates passed through the KBRC booth. The delegates were impressed by what KBRC is doing and recommended that similar exhibitions should be replicated across the country.
